United Tribes Secures Third Win Against Lake Region State College

For the second straight game United Tribes used a huge second half run to down Lake Region State College for the third time this season 87-73.
The game unfolded with a tale of two halves with the Thunderbirds leading 32-22 with just over seven minutes remaining in the first half. However, the Royals responded with a 23-6 run to close out the half, leaving the Thunderbirds trailing 45-38 as they headed to the locker room.
The Royals continued to grow their lead early in the second half, extending it to 52-44 with 15:57 left on the clock. But, after a Cayden Redfield basket and a timeout, the Thunderbirds responded with a run of their own.
The relentless 37-13 onslaught from United Tribes completely shifted the momentum of the game, putting the game out of reach, 81-65 after a free throw by Redfield with just over three minutes remaining.
Redfield led Tribes with 23 points and 12 rebounds, his third double double of the season. Houston Davis was 8-11 from the field finishing with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Jacolby Pearson had another huge night off the bench knocking down 5 three pointers on his way to 21 points.
United Tribes returns home on Monday night to face Williston State College at 7:30 pm.
