United Tribes falls on the road
United Tribes Technical College faced a formidable challenge on the road at Williston State College Thursday night, resulting in a snapping of their 5-game win streak. The Thunderbirds took an early lead at halftime, heading into the break with a 40-36 advantage. However, the game took a turn when, with the score tied at 64 and 7:30 left on the clock, the Tetons seized control after a pivotal Tyler Best layup. This ignited a game-changing 15-2 run, propelling the Tetons to a commanding 79-66 lead with four minutes remaining.
Despite limiting the Tetons to only three points the rest of the way, the Thunderbirds were unable to close the gap.
