United Tribes Wins Fourth Straight by Downing Williston State 85-70
Thunderbirds start final week of the regular season with home win
United Tribes started strong and stayed hot in the second half to earn their fourth straight win against the visiting Tetons of Williston State College. The Thunderbirds led 42-36 at halftime and used some stingy defense and deft shooting to build a 73-50 lead with 7:45 to play in the game on Jordan Lebeau's third three pointer of the half. The Thunderbirds dished out 30 assists in the 85-70 win. United Tribes improves to 16-9 on the season and 10-9 in the Mon Dak Conference standings.
DK Middleton had his second straight double double and fourth of the season leading the way with 20 points and 11 assists. Tahj Two Bulls finished with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Lebeau had another big game off the bench with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Tristin Davis also reached double figures with 10 points and he handed out 4 assists.
The Thunderbirds travel to Dakota College at Bottineau on Thursday for a 7:30 pm contest.
