Kelsey Peltier enters her third season as the head women's basketball coach at United Tribes Technical College. 

In her inaugural season at UTTC in 2016-2017, Peltier helped guide the Thunderbirds to an 10-15 overall record and a 2-10 Mon-Dak Conference mark. United Tribes Technical College finished sixth in The Mon-Dak Conference. 

Under Peltier's leadership, three student-athletes were named to the Mon-Dak All-Conference Team. 

The Thunderbirds compiled an overall record of 14-14 and went 3-9 in Mon-Dak Conference action during the 2017-18 season. Freshmen Tariq Brownotter and Mia Wilkinson were named Mon-Dak All-Conference. The same season, five thunderbirds were named Academic All-Conference. They were Mia Wilkinson, Danielle Peltier, Tariq Brownotter, Mary Garter, and Ky'Lee Driftwood. 

Peltier joined the Thunderbirds in August, 2016, after graduating from The University of North Dakota with a B.S. in Psychology. 

Prior to joining UTTC, Peltier was an assistant coach at Dunseith High School, where she assisted in player development for the Junior Varsity Girls' Basketball team. 

A native of Dunseith, N.D., Peltier played for Bottineau High School where she was was point guard for the three-time defending State Champions, Bottineau Stars, and teammate to assistant coach, Shaunna Knife. After high school, Peltier played for North Dakota State University and University of Mary. 

Peltier's sister, McKayla, played for UTTC during the 2015-2017 seasons and was a key player on the Thunderbird's team who made their first-ever appearance to the NJCAA National Tournament in 2016.
