United Tribes wins on the road at Lake Region 88-74
Houston Davis leads the way with a double double
United Tribes started slow and finished fast on their way to a win in their first road conference game of the season. Lake Region jumped out to a 48-43 lead in the first half, but the Thunderbirds tightened up on defense in the second half out scoring the Royals 45-26 pulling away for an 88-74 win.
Houston Davis led the way with the first double double of the season finishing with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Despite being in foul trouble Cayden Redfield went 3-3 from the three point line and finished with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Hudda Curry also reached double figures with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Trae Hugs finished with a game high 5 assists an Ty Moccasin provided a spark off the bench with 8 points and 7 rebounds.
The Thunderbirds are now 5-2 and 3-1 in the Mon Dak Conference on the season. They host undefeated Dawson Community College tonight at 7:30.
