Thunderbirds rally past Dawson
Tribes defeats conference foe in tight contest, improve record to 13-6
The United Tribes Men's basketball team was seeking to get back on track after dropping two games last week. They did just that with a 90-82 win against Dawson Community College Thursday night at the Thunderdome.
Tribes had five players reach double figures in scoring. Leading the balanced attack was Amaury Matthews with 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. Tre Williams had 18 points and 8 rebounds. Xavier Norris finished with 12, Antwan Antonio 10, and Ernest Grant provided a spark off the bench with 14 points and 5 rebounds.
The win improves the Thunderbirds record to 13-6. They next travel across town to face rival Bismarck State College on Monday night at 7:30 p.m.
